Fellowship Music Day in Coventry, Saturday 13th May

The Fellowship is hosting its first music day this saturday 13th May in Coventry from 09:30am-13:00. All Fellowship branches are encouraged to enter their choir to participate in this music competition described by organisers as a 'branch team building through music'. It is a day not to be missed as it promises to be joyous, and more importantly fellowshipping together through music. Singing praise to our Lord. In an invitation sent to all Fellowship branches, the National Music Ministry Committee says "the Methodist church is known for its great melody , sounds of worship , songs of praise and hence ,it is our pleasure to invite all members of the MCZF UK family and all those who like music to come and join us at this great day of praising God through music."

MCU / BCU held a successful revival in Reading

The Men's Christian Union and its Boys' Christian Union held an uplifting, informative and educative all night revival in Reading on Saturday 29th April, 2017. The revival was organised as part of the two organisation's efforts to develop spiritual growth of their members through Bible teachings and sharing life experiences.

 

The all night attended by both MCU and BCU members from across most of the Fellowship's branches was described by many present as 'successful and rewarding.' BCU treasurer Effort Takaedza said "We really had a great time. I am happy that I attended. I was so blessed." MCU chairperson, Mr Tichaona Madziya also agreed, "We that God for a wonderful blessed all night. And I would like to thank all men and boys who attended."

I would like to begin by thanking our former Chaplain Rev Adam Nyawo for being our shepherd for the past five years. May God bless Adam and his family as he starts his new role in Ministry.

 

I am aware that I am addressing you when Zimbabwe is facing a severe drought, high unemployment and the ever increasing economic hardships but our theme this year is “Warmed Hearts” (2 Corinthians 1: 20-22)

 

 As our guest, we shall share with you our experience of God's presence and love in our lives. We value cultural diversity in our worship.

It has some spiritually uplifting mini-sites and blogs provided by social networking websites used by our members. Easter All Night Prayer in Birmingham

Thirteen ministers and Revd Dr Gondongwe, a guest from Zimbabwe are attending the MCZF UK organised Easter All Night Prayer today, Friday 14th April in Birmingham from 18:00 - 06:00. The theme of the All Night is Moving on in the power of God ( 1 Corinthians 1:18). Revd Dr Gondongwe, Methodist Church in Zimbabwe Mission Director and Principal of United Theological College (Epworth) is the guest preacher whose sermon is going to be on "Unstoppable generation". Prior to his main sermon, Revd Gondongwe will also talk about the significance of the cross during the early part of the programme.Revd Dr Gondongwe 5

 

Chaplain Revd Sibanda will give the opening Devotion. Revd Dr Jambawo will do theme exposition and Revd Chidziya will talk about the call to prayer. Fellowship branches are encouraged to attend and for members try to make an effort and bring a friend along. Our Youth backed by the MCU's Dumisa Rumbidza Praise music group will also perform the Passion of the Christ play. All Fellowship groups will join toegther in praising and celebrating this significant day.

 

Chaplain Revd Sibanda said "Its going to be a memorable Easter All night. A guest from Zimbabwe and 13 ministers ready to pray with you as an individual. Tawanirwa nyasha."
